WHY WE LAUNCHED THIS
MEMECOINS GOT COMPLICATED. WE WANT THEM STUPID AGAIN.
Memecoins used to be easy to understand.
A picture. A name. A joke people actually told each other. You either got it in one second or you didn’t. That was the whole product.
Then the culture got buried under product.
Suddenly a “meme” needed a stock pair, a tax wallet, a bridge, a points season, a dashboard, and a paragraph explaining which chain it lived on. People stopped laughing and started studying. The timeline filled up with tickers that needed a tutorial.
That is not a meme. That is homework wearing a dog picture.
We launched MEMEPAD because we think the room went the wrong way.
Memes are culture first. They move because a name is disgusting, funny, mean, or too dumb to ignore. They do not move because somebody added another setting. If you have to explain the mechanics before you explain the joke, the joke already lost.
So we stripped it.
One chain: Solana. One place the coin actually lives: a Meteora pool. One job for this site: launch the kind of tickers that would have gotten you thrown out of a nice meeting.
No multi-chain maze. No tax thesis. No “this is like equity but also like a game.” If a coin needs a whitepaper to be funny, it is not a meme. It is a small company that is afraid to admit it.
MEMEPAD is intentionally narrow. You come here to put a filthy name on-chain and let people trade it. That is the product. Culture, then liquidity. Not the other way around.
We do not think every coin should be serious infrastructure. Some coins should be a bad word with a chart. The market already has enough complexity. It does not have enough personality.
If that sounds childish, good. Memes were never supposed to sound like finance.
This site exists to make that smaller again: one joke, one ticker, one pool, no costume.
